Hello everyone,
Goodness it's been so long since I've written. The last blog I wrote years ago was about my previously titled book, “Grateful” - Faith, Healing and the Gift of Music. I even have a podcast called the “Grateful Podcast Series.”
Well, I am indeed still very grateful, and the book was and still is about God's healing power throughout my struggles with bipolar disorder, and coming to live a healthy life in remission by His grace. The book however, is now entitled: “Tell Them About Me” - A Journey Through Bipolar Disorder and the Faith Walk Into Remission.
Why did I change the title? Well, “Tell Them About Me” is also the name of my Christian testimony, made public on the Hallow app's Daily Miracle Series. Those are the words the Lord spoke to me in my darkest hour, foreshadowing the immeasuable miracles He would be working in my life. I believe He wanted me to testify to his grace and glory. It is only by His hand that I am well today, and the book goes into great detail about just that.
I'm thrilled that “Tell Them About Me” is being formatted and will be out in October of this year! You will be able to find it on Amazon, KDP, and anywhere audio books are sold, including Audible.
As if the book weren't enough, my tenth album (my first full Christian album), Perfect Is Your Will, is out now on all digital streaming platforms. The first two singles I've released, ("I Believe" and “Perfect Is Your Will”), have been predominatnly in the top ten on the Christian Radio Charts for the last five months. Yes, God is on the move.
Here on my website, you can hear and buy the album and find/buy the book. You also have access to all of my other albums, some reviews, and press/podcast interviews about all of the above.
I remain the vocal jazz professor Kent State University (my eighth year), the music instructor and music minister at St. Joseph Randolph (my third year), and a music instructor and principal conductor for Open Tone Music, serving inner Akron and Cleveland communities (my tenth year). I also continue to serve on the worship team (voice and keyboard), at St. Mary Hudson (five years).
I think the title of my next book should be “Blessed Beyond Measure,” because I truly am! Just kidding, there is no “next book” Lol, but I am indeed blessed beyond measure.
Stay tuned in to my blog for more updates, and thank you all for your interest in my creative journey, and for your prayers!
God bless.
