Maria Jacobs

“Grateful” is the Christian memoir of national recording artist and college professor, Maria Jacobs, who is American born of Arabic descent.

This memoir is about her endurance of Bipolar Disorder throughout her entire adult life, and the subsequent remission she gratefully lives today.  It elaborates on the extreme highs and devastating lows she endured for years, and the loss of faith, now reclaimed in Jesus Christ through gratitude, His gift of music, and the return to her Catholic faith.  Put simply, Grateful is a resurrection story.

It is for any of the 5.7 million people living with Bipolar Disorder, or anyone who has loved or known someone who has been afflicted. It not only offers encouragement to anyone trying to overcome themselves, it gives them hope that they too can live a full life in remission.
